You're mad about Amazon caving in to the issue of collecting sales tax?
Let me ask you honestly, did you ever fully self-report your online purchases when you reported taxes?
You don't have to answer that.
The thing is, B&M stores are required to collect sales tax, which go towards things like infrastructure, things which we as a civilized society come to expect.
Amazon was not required to do so, which put them at a great advantage over local B&M stores.
Since most consumers will not willfully self-report online purchases, thereby increasing their own costs, Amazon was put in a position to either do business in those states and collect tax or not do business.
You're essentially griping about the retailer not dodging out of their civil responsibility, something which you may or may not do.

Right, lazy losers like teachers, firemen, police officers and construction workers who make sure you can drive safely (excepting other drivers). I find that typically the people who call others lazy are themselves people who're insecure about the value of their own labor.
And even bearing with you for a minute. If those people really are lazy, then clearly what they need is encouragement and opportunity rather than being beaten into the ground about how "lazy" they are. But yes. It's substantially easier to ignore the hardships of others if we allow ourselves to demonize them in some fashion.
BTW, thanks for the deal OP. Solid time to upgrade from my DVD set.

Again, never said it was a bad deal. It's a good deal. It's better than good, it's tied for the best deal ever. I even gave it thumbs up. I just was saying, I wonder how many people who would buy, haven't already bought in one of those previous deals, at this price or just a couple bucks more ($14, $15, $17, $19). Just wondering out loud. Just like I wonder at those $1 meritline firestarters that the mods were posting every month or two there for a long stretch. it got to the point where I just said, "Really, they put it on FP again?
