|inmyveganopinion||Discover told me NO they do not price match anything from Black Friday or Cyber Monday. So for next year this is very YMMV as if they tell you no you are stuck paying the higher price or returning the item|

Also FWIW, I advised my sister to purchase the 60" Vizio from Walmart during the black friday sale (she was going to buy some sanyo or magnavox)...
She got the TV and gave it to my brother in law for his birthday, they used it for a day and had issues getting the network to work (no matter how many times they entered the wireless key it would not connect), flash forward a day and when they turned it on, it did an update and rebooted. After that they could turn the TV on for at most a minute and it would turn off. So they went through a mess getting it returned to Walmart for exchange of another (which they were not happy to do, they wanted my sister to pay the difference between the normal sale price and the black friday sales price). Finally they got it exchanged, got it home, powered it on and used it all day. That night they turned it on, and it would only stay on for a minute and turn off. All inputs, different channels. She called in to Vizio before returning the first time and they told her it was just a problem with that specific tv. The second time she called in to Vizio about the second TV, the rep told her its going to happen to every one she gets that it was a known problem and they were working on it.
Long story short, I'm never recommending anything to them again...

|alwaysSD||Well, I liked the Vizio 60 but not for 999 So instead opted for LG 55LM6700 3D LED from Costco for 1099|

It still doesn't make sense to me that they would price match these kinds of specials... I'll call them up next year and confirm/deny I guess xD

Update here. TV has still not arrived even though it was supposed to arrive last Wednesday. Amazon more than compensated for that, gave me $75 credit in their shipping cost (they probably got a refund) to my CC, and a $30 promotional certificate. It's finally coming tomorrow. I ended up not being able to price match with the Walmart.com offer, instead I did Sam's Club for $978 for an extra $21, since yesterday was my last day to PM. Am planning on asking if they can match just the TV in the Walmart offer, but they still might not be able to do that. Either way, here is where I am at on the TV:
$999.99 (Original Amazon price) - $311.99 (Discover credit) - $20 (2% Amazon rewards) - $50 (5% Discover online purchases) - $75 (Amazon shipping refund) - $30 (Amazon promotional certificate) - $21 (Sam's Club PM) = $492 shipped ($462 if they match Walmart bundle price)
I think waiting an extra week and a half was probably worth it in that case! Amazon is awesome!
I have yet to find another SDer who got the price down that far on the Vizio. The stars have aligned perfectly for me!

|sweyers||And a good thing might be getting even better for me! Since this is technically a full price Amazon purchase, it qualifies for Amazon's TV price match guarantee. Found a bundle at Walmart.com with TV and Wall Mount for $948 and free shipping. If all goes as planned and Amazon price matches Walmart (hopefully offer is still there when order ships) then I would be at $567 shipped maybe even with a free wall mount! Will update!|

|sweyers||So all my posts about the Vizio so far have been extremely unhappy, well here comes a happy post! Emailed Discover through Corporate Inquiries link, and after a bit of back and forth discussion, since they failed to get the card to me before Thanksgiving as promised, long story short, they agreed to credit me $311 toward the purchase of the Vizio for $999 on Amazon! So with no tax on Amazon for me it's $999 - $20 (2% Amazon rewards) - $50 (5% Discover Online Purchases) - $311 (Discover credit) = $618 OTD! Didn't work out perfectly, but thank you so much Discover!|
