I even heard ATT reps say stupid things about other wireless sellers.

can someone please provide some feedback on choosing the right plan to get this phone ?
I am currently using walmart mobile plan with unlimited talk+text+ whatever data they give for 80$+taxes for 2 lines.
I am not much of a data user, minimum data required for this phone would suffice my data needs. but no matter how i add/alter/choose a plan my monthly cost is coming up to 130$ + taxes.
Any suggestions to get family plan or 2 indiv lines for 1000min voice, unlimit text and whatever min data for around 100$?
I am tempted to get this phone after looking at it in a store but having second thoughts on the plan rates as paying 30-40$ more than my current plan per month would be donating 700-800$ over two year period to the service provider...
any suggestions from the slickgurus?

I was wondering that too if Amazon had more stock than Walmart because Wally had their deal up first before Amazon's price drop (in reaction, I suppose). If they did I would switch over but it looks like demand is so great Amazon's OOS too. I bought mine Wed. evening from Walmart and my status is still "Awaiting Inventory".
Also can someone tell me how the muti-quote works? I just tried it and got nada...had to edit my OP to add the comments I was replying to.

|aznmixer01||I got my plan from ATT with a company discounts like 17% off monthly bill. Will Amazon honor that too?|

Check is to see who/where you're buying the warranty from (if any). If you pay for a Verizon warranty, they'll have to service it. If you buy a service plan from say, Best Buy, or Amazon, they'll be responsible for servicing your device. Generally 3rd party plans are better deals. Do your research and find out if the company responsible for servicing your device has a good rep.

Has anyone ever signed up for amazon wireless? I called ATT and they denied having anything to do with Amazon so how does that work if you sign up for ATT through Amazon?
The rep even say amazon sends out knockoff phones and ATT will no be responsible for it even if you have ATT account (cause they don't deal with amazon's customers).

Not sure about your second question but I saw it mentioned in this thread that ATT classifies it as a phablet so people can choose only a data plan, but better double check.

|readingrainbow||Is there minimum number of months you need to keep the monthly plan before Early Termination (with fee) and keep the phone? Can this ATT phone work for T mobile? Can a new customer get a data plan only with this deal?|

|hwyking||Doh! I bought this for $299 on launch day from an AT&T store. Does anyone know if they will price match Amazon? It's only been 20 days.|
