From the costco description, Dual power mode provides either 15 minutes of high constant suction or 6 minutes of MAX power for more difficult tasks.

Dyson is not a good vac at all. They are great at marketing. Miele and a few others are in their own class well above a Dyson. Take Miele and take a Dyson. Dump baking soda on the floor, rub it into the rug. Miele will get it all out, Dyson will get about half of it out.
Again, Dyson is great a marketing. Bright Yellow, Neon Blue...yep you are drawn to the colors like a moth to light.

Dyson Customer Service is top notch, too....I called after warranty expired and they walked me through how to fix it.
Expensive, yes but I will never buy anything but Dyson again...

|MinnesotaWT||I have the DC35 and we love it...very powerful, incredibly useful, and if you are a dog owner or have a kid, perfect for those "oh darn" moments.|

|Kevoo_11||I was skeptical about Dyson and their extremely over market cost, but after owning one I will never buy another brand (and most likely never buy another vacuum judging by how well the DC28 is built)|

|crrink||Pricey, for sure, but hands down the best hand vac I've ever used. I don't regret purchasing mine one bit, and I'm buying the Costco deal for a Christmas gift.|

No idea how much the tools run, but if you can find them for under $50 this seems like a better deal than buying a DC35
Off the top of my head the best price I have seen for DC35 lately was $199... And from this forum: http://www.dysonforum.

|funkmasterta||That's pricey for a hand vac, even at the "discounted" price.|

Dyson DC34 @ Costco $125 ACB + tax (today only)
Costco selling Dyson DC34 for $150+tax for today only (Dec 5). If you have the AMEX sync 25 off 100, this deal goes down to $125 + tax after the cashback from AMEX. Great return policy. I believe there's extended warranty too if you buy with AMEX.
