Those of you have a 3DS XL, here is an official case for $4 @ Best Buy

On a second level side note: I would buy and return BF3 multiple times, just to open it and pull the code (no actual playing of game would occur). (because %$#$ EA, thats why)

Shoot I used to buy games online (when on a good sale) and then take them to walmart or target still in the plastic for store credit to get the title I actually wanted. Last i tried neither would allow it, they demand a recipt for any type of exchange. and target has a $70 a year limit (walmart has the 3 items every quarter, I believe).

guys, do you know how long until this kind of deal will come back? First of all i think this deal is fantastic but there are couple of things that prevent me from immediate gratification:
1. I bought a vita bundle during black friday (that deal was great too!)
2. after browsing through the catalog of 3ds games (had ds before), there are maybe a handful of games i would be excited to play.
With that said, is this a "must get" even if it might collect dust for a bit because this kind of deal wont be back for a while or if i wait till feb/march i can maybe find a similar deal?

I've never had an issue doing an exchange with a receipt.
I bought my first iPad @ Best Buy. I scratched the shit out of the back of it when I was trying to take the OtterBox back off and proceeded to break the OtterBox. I took both back, explained what happened, and they exchanged the iPad and I selected a different style case.
Hell, I bought a different style of pants than my normal just to try, wore them about 10 times in about 3 weeks and washed them 5-6x. Kept all the tags. Took them back to Kohls, explained ALL of that, they let me exchange them for a different pair of Levi's (and even got a $5 refund).
We also exchange games allllll the time @ Target for my daughter (usually every time we buy her a game once a month or so, we exchange it 3-4 times until we get one she can play.) They usually don't care as long as its an exchange and we're always exchanging kids titles.
Long story short... I expect to get the best for my money. If I don't, I exchange until I do.

|nerofive5||Does dust under the screen cause bubbles, or is it just fragments of dirt. I ask cause one of my catleaps had bubbles but no dead pixels, and I did not see anyone comment about bubbles, but many about dirt.|

|Zarich||I always return for for dead pixels.. but sometimes they are so hard for other to see. I return for crooked screens, but usually those are crooked enough it makes the image look tilted (this does not.. the border is just thicker on one side than the other). My biggest peeve outside of pixels is dust under the screen.|

When you went thru 5 DS systems, what were the issues? As far as exchanges, you could ask if they have a lemon policy.
BTW, I am assuming this was purchased cash, I shop mostly with my amex for electronics because it extends the warranty, and and insurance for theft and loss (not 100% sure about the loss part) on top of those the credit card company can revoke the charges if there is an issue and the merchant states their policy is king. The only exception may be Costco, since you have to sign a membership agreement to shop there, but they also have one of the most leinent return policys I have seen (in action).

Okay.. So I am in the exchange only. so now I go into... exchange until I get a perfect one, or live with a minor imperfection.
How do people either live with or not notice these issues?
