I sent the materials on Dec 16, 2012. I didn't hear anything from them yet. I kind of forgot about the rebate. I just check the status today and it says they never received the mail. I have the copies of the materials that I sent. I will call them later today.

I didn't remove mine from the RAM, but I did cut the UPC and Part number label (under the UPC ) on the box. I just sent my rebate, and we will know the results later.

How did you remove the stickers? Just pull it from RAM?

There is a label on each ram, but there is a note on the ram says: "void warranty if removed".
shall I remove it from ram? There is a part number label under the UPC, but I am not sure that is the one they ask for.

Double check the actual memory and see if a label is on either of the 2 sticks.

For most applications you won't even feel the difference between 1333 and 1600 MHz RAM... I would go so far as to say that for the vast majority of people, 1333 is enough. If you are using the iGPU or APU in systems without dedicated video cards for anything strenuous like hardcore games, then 1333 might not be enough.

|dooster||Man I bought 2of these last week for my XPS 8500, now I am on the fence about putting it in my system after reading all these comments about compatibility, the last thing I want is it fry my new machine. I do believe theres a re-stocking fee should I decide to return.....what to do, what to do....|
