So if you have an existing order they will credit you back the price difference. They will also price match Amazon, but in this case they didn't need to. Took all of 4 minutes with a nice fellow named Avi.

Current TX20 owners: how is the pictures quality?
Also can it focus while shooting a video?
Could anyone compare to the Canon S95 from experience/ ownership?

I too have the TX10 (bought it last year). We took really good care of it (NEVER dropped) but it's formed a crack in the corner. Reading about this online and this looks to be REALLY common and really seems that something is wrong with the plastic itself. Sony's response is that it's a defect caused by the owner and isn't covered under warranty. Bah humbug!
I was thinking of the TX20 and while I like the design (same as TX10), I have my doubts on the durability. The next iteration should probably be out in March and might make use of the stacked Exmor-RS chip (8 or 13 megapixels instead of 16 - but hopefully compression will be lessened). I'll probably wait for that (and if they change the body to be more durable).
Other than that, the TX10 takes terrific photos. It has a little issue with diffusion of sunlight (if light hits it at an angle, sometimes the photo will look a little washed out) and the compression is a tad high (not too great for digital at native resolution but prints beautifully). If it wasn't for the durability, I would buy it again.
It looks like from the reviews that the TX20 is quicker and has a 360 degree panorama (I think the TX10 does 180 degrees).

Because it uses lots of battery power I bought a wall-mount charger and batteries from eBay and always have extra power available, even though we are not heavy users.

I've owned a Sony TX-7 and a TX-9 and found them both to be very good. They are very small and easy to carry and have a huge touch screen in the rear. They also take very good pictures and 1080p HD video too. I assume the TX-20 is probably even better since it is newer.
Now I don't know anything about the S100 and I'm sure its a wonderful camera but a little info to backup the above claim would be useful to us who don't know anything about the S100.
For example, is the Canon S100 waterproof, dustproof, and shock-proof like this one?

this seems competitor to the panny lumix ts-20. lumix is cheaper at around $120 and specs are similar except sony has better ISO.
Thoughts? Been shopping for my first waterproof cam and would probably use mainly around the pool, maybe beach - want something rugged so the kid cant break it...

|davidsimon||I had the TX10 and was extremely happy with it. I payed a lot more than this but it was a while back. No issues with chips or durability. My family ended up stealing it since they liked it so much so I'm buying this one. Thanks OP!|
