|allmil||Can anyone suggest the best way to get support for this phone? Frustrating looking. My text messaging is driving me nuts. About half the time won't send. Sits there forever and then get a message Message not Sent. Try again and usually works. I get a red triangle in the messages it can't send. It doesn't matter where I am at so don't think a network issue. I have cleaned up messages.|

|rock4life||Well after getting the 4.2.1 update and patch my volume level for the speaker phone is back down to what it was when bought. None of the google play store apps raise the volume anymore. I was using Equalizer and now it does not work. I used to have to turn the volume down when using a live stream app or it would distort at the upper levels and now I have to cup my hand around the speaker to hear it. Anyone else have this problem, and have you found a solution to it??|

Options, Options, Options
There are some flames about "ripoff", but I think that's from the people who are looking at their social commerce structure and wonder why they're not millionaires. They are using T-Mobile's network which is faster and more reliable than AT&T from my personal experience having been a customer with both (I'm still on T-Mobile with two family plans, so that should tell how I felt about AT&T). I will look at the Solavie plan when contracts expire.
You need to find a sponsor to join. You can do that at androidandme http://androidandme.co
He becomes your sponsor á la Amway, but it doesn't cost you anything. This is their business structure "gimmick", the social commerce part. If you find 3 people who want to follow you onto Solavei (called a trio) you get $20 off your monthly phone bill as long as they remain customers. Their trios also become a source of income to you, but again, they are not losing money because of it. The worst that might happen is they provide crappy service. At that point you take your $49/month with your GSM phone and go wherever you like. The big money loss is the cost of porting your phone number. To prevent that, port it to Google Voice and forward it to whatever phone number you pick up.
Where people seem to criticize this as a ripoff must be their greedy expectation that everyone is going to want drop their service and switch. For your part, you risk becoming a pariah to your friends because you keep trying to get them to switch. This is why I avoid my friends that became Amway sponsors.
BTW - I don't work for any mobile comm business, or anyone else for that matter. I'm was disabled years ago after a career in high tech, and I've tried to keep up my skills and my expertise.

I don't like the new alarm snooze. You have to swipe left or press the volume button. I liked the old snooze bar. I can always go aftermarket.
Update: OK after a few days, I've changed my mind. I actually like the slide-to-snooze feature. Less chance of accidentally hitting off. Also did I miss some of the sounds or are there a few new alarm sounds?

Anyone notice after the 4.2 update that the phone wakes up every 5 minutes or so?
I am thinking this would reduce the battery life...
