I recently switched to PTel Paygo, since I only need it for voice minutes, and mistakenly thought it would roam on Tmobile's network. However, now I know that it doesn't ... it only uses TMobile's native network. This usually isn't a problem because 95% of my usage is in TMo's native network.
However, we travel to western ND a few times a year, and there is no coverage there with PTel. What do most of you PTel users do when traveling occasionally outside PTel's network ... do you just buy a different prepaid phone & service for the trip?

BTW I use Ptel and like them but might think about lycamobile's $20/unlimited if I can find a phone for it.

|Alex5675||Anyone know of any alternatives to PTEL? I have three more months of pre-paid left, but if there isn't a way to get the $40 plan for $20 by then, I'd like to switch to another service.|

I initiated a port on Saturday night and was ported by Sunday morning 7am ish.
I think Ptel is going to be losing a lot of customer in the coming months if they don't have another code coming out. I got about 4 months of service left and I will probably check out LycaMobile at that time.
