|tarams||Anyone else start getting a magazine they didn't order? I ordered Psych Today which is suppose to start in February but started getting "W" magazine which is something I have zero interest in, but wondering if it is something discount mags sent...|

Pop psychology magazines like Psychology Today won't hold the interest of those versed in cognitive behavioral science for very long. You'll find similar and oftentimes more in-depth articles on expert blogs - on the Psychology Today website, for example.
This will make a good gift for a high-schooler or an undergraduate just getting into psychology. Even for them, most of the articles will begin to feel stale by the end of the first year.

|Bender||Great magazine. I love reading the articles online, but I prefer the magazine format...it's a lot easier to focus on when I don't have 15 tabs of articles to read.|

In case anyone was wondering (as I was), they do not auto renew your subscription. I wasn't sure and wanted to check before finalizing the order. Might be known, but in case it helps anyone else thinking about it...

My biggest complaint is that it can get very long winded making simple points (or lack thereof). For this price, I think that it's worth it, but if they wanted to charge stereotypical scientific journal prices than I'd have to be anti this purchase.|

Great find. My subscription lapsed a while back.
Review-wise, this mag is not so much for people in the industry as much as it is for the everyday person. As with any magazine, there were articles that I didn't care for but overall I enjoyed this magazine and found most of the articles interesting. I also like that it comes every 2 months--I tend to get behind on monthly mags. IMHO, this is a great deal at what is basically half price for a 2 year subscription. My wife enjoys reading it, too. She is a middle school teacher and every bit of help understanding those kids is a plus, lol.
