I just wanted to update this thread and leave a confirmation that I, in fact, did properly receive a $40 check from Siig, Inc. on February 21, 2013. This will help anyone in the future who wants to know if Siig can be trusted with rebates.

I had to order with store pickup.
Went to Fry's this afternoon, huge cashier conga line.
Cashier brings the box, it has a "returned item" tag on it,
noting a missing screw so monitor wont stay in place...
which reduced the price to $81, which of course is less than useless.
The line was just too crazy, the cashier could barely speak English,
kept yammering DEBIT ! DEBIT ! ...but no it was a Credit Card
and the whole transaction had to wait for a supervisor over-ride...
Receipt printed for $59.99 and $40 rebate form printed fine.
I will return or exchange for an unopened box.,
Don't care to explore this missing screw issue.
Anyway, the deal and rebate work fine.
It is not a good idea to go to Fry's Saturday before Christmas.

i dont consider these full articulating monitor stands
i just installed my 2nd set of ergotron LX Dual monitior stands
granted they cost much more but they are soooo worth the money
the spring assisted height and tilt adjustments are what makes it awesome
the desk stand portion and the rigidness of the clamps are what separates cheap ones from good stands
i have owned 3 desk monitor stands from monoprice
and 2 sets of ergotron LXs
there is a reason why i dont cheap out on these and always end up going back to ergotron
with the cheap monitor stands, the L shaped metal clamp that goes on and behind the desk tends to bend as you tighten the clamp
with dual monitors weighing in and leaning forward, you will notice it a lot more
with thickness and rigidity of ergotron, you will never see bending happening
everything is as stable as it can be, while being fully adjustable

|Minions||Grabbed a two, and a three monitor mount. Seems that most of the people with issues with these mounts installed them incorrectly... IE. Arms upside down.|

Nope this thing holds my 27" Yamakasi 2703 just fine. No sagging what so ever. I even mounted it on an Ikea desk thats less than 1" thick. The adjustments are great and the arms are removable if you need to change the length. Highly recommended especially at this price.

|fld||We bought a dual monitor mount last time when it was $40 or something after MIR. The build quality is pretty good, and even great for the money. The rebate was quick and pain less. I have submitted many SIIG rebates and have never had any problem. I think I received those rebate checks within like a month or so, not even 8 weeks. I will probably pick a tri-monitor mount if we can go to Fry tomorrow.|
