|pandy00||imo, the majority of this 'fruity' or 'fusion' tea is yucky. the only one i've liked out of the 8 i've opened is the black dragon pearl ones. going to gift the rest away. -_-|

|soloz2||My second "replacement" order arrived yesterday. It will still missing my 4oz of Gyokuro Imperial tea and the replacement tins are not suitable for loose leaf tea storage. I emailed them again. Hopefully it doesn't take a week to respond this time.|

|soloz2||It took them just over a week to respond to my email, and they never returned my call. They did however ship out the missing and damaged items in a separate order. I received an email with tracking for the replacement order even though I never received shipping notification for my original order. Hopefully everything will be in order when the replacements arrive.|

I called them about a week and half ago to check the status of my order. The lady on the phone told me that the whole order minus a few tins has been shipped and should be delivered within 3-4 days. No shipping confirmation email or a back-order notification was received, however.
I am yet to see the package on my porch. So I requested a tracking number 4 days ago to see where my item is thinking it could be held up at a local UPS/USPS store. No response. Gave them a call again today (I know their official hours is Mon-Fri but I got connected anyways). It has been well over 2 hours and it's still giving me "all agents are still busy assisting other callers" crap.
I will file a formal complaint against the company as well as request my credit card company for a refund.
They were going to be gifts for my tea-loving family and friends. No use now that I am flying back out of the country on Monday morning.

For good news, I found out my local Teavana was still having some stuff on 75% off yesterday. No loose tea for clearance, but they had pre-filled tea (only one kind as I could find) with oval tea tin and tea thermo containers for 75% off. One kid of gift set was 50% off. I was lucky to be able to find oval tea tin (8 oz) for 75% off ($6 -> $1.50 clearance), so I bought a couple tins (and enjoyed some samples while I was there!) The tins were from the ones they used for clearance sale as "pre-filled tea with tin" set. I could smell the tea they were hosting before.
It was good news to me since my online order of 8 square tins were canceled (or Teavana didn't ship them, but I didn't get charged for them either).
Has anybody gotten tea tins that were backordered online shipped yet? I was wondering if I am going to get my missing tins...

Just received a 2nd email today stating that "my order has shipped". This 2nd email shows 3 more items of my original order containing 11 items.
The 1st email was on Jan. 8th and it showed 2 items.
So they are obviously splitting up order and shipping items as they become available.
I haven't actually received anything yet.

If you just put it in for 10 minutes I'm sure it would be fine. It might shrink the metal enough that it would loosen it up. The inside of the container would remain above freezing for longer. If you are worried about the tea freezing, you could just put it in the refrigerator instead. You could also stick it in some ice alternatively. Bringing it back into room temp gives it another chance to loosen as well.
Otherwise call the fire department and use the jaws of life.

I received my order last Tuesday. It was missing items that they charged me for and most of my tins were damaged beyond use. I emailed them on the 2nd. They still have not gotten back to me. Last night I called and waited on hold 12 minutes so I selected to receive a call back. They still have not called and it has now been 14 hours...

I placed an order the first day of this sale, got an email saying it shipped a week ago minus the tins. I'm thinking it should've been here by now so I check my tracking number and its still blank! This company sucks.
Update: So they used another tracking number and I got it that evening. They charged me the correct amount, reduced shipping to $2.40. Maybe complaining in this thread is the answer..
