|DrumTek||Just picked these up last night. Had to comment that the sound quality on these are amazing. And I am a musician. For $25, these things rule!|

The sound quality has been far surpassed by many other companies for under 100. Sennheiser HD 555s, and 280s are an example. Monoprice also has excellent headphones, forgot the name of them though. Grado SR60s as well. All of them are more expensive but still under 100.
It may sound good, but if its uncomfortable then you can't even enjoy them. That is my experience though. The only headphones I can stand are open ones, and out of all the headphones that deliver phenomenal sound, I can only use the HD555s. My Grado SR80s remain mostly unused because of the discomfort they cause.

By the way, K Mart on Manchester in St. Louis city is a frickin nightmare for online order pickup. Had to call the store from the layaway area to track down a live human... then they said I should have just picked up at the service desk (front of store)... Email says layaway. Showed them but get the feeling nothing will be changing.
So they gave me the headphones and sent me back to a nice long line at the service desk to finish the pickup. Best of both worlds. Online ordering and store lines...

|clarkkent06||Yeah, like I said, if you are going to be the only one using it you can tape the band together at the top and it won't move, hence saving your hair|

|Sam111111||Mmmf. Bought. I guess I'll pick these up later, I've wanted an open-air one. worried they'll hurt my hair and be annoying though. we'll see, for $27 it can't be that bad right? ...|

Edit: The headphones are no where close to being broken in yet, but at first pass I would say i'm slightly disappointed--sound really muddy. I know, maybe my expectations were a little high for sub $50 cans, but they really are hyped up. They do sound better than the Sennheiser HD202's though around the same price point.
Edit 2: Actually, I retract my previous statements. These little cans are pretty decent. Just did an A & B vs my Sennheiser HD280 Pro with many many many hours of use and they can hold their own. Has a different sound signature of course.

|DrumTek||Waited a long time, but decided to jump on this. They had it in stock at the nearest Kmart by my house. It was between this and those Walmart JVC ones for $14.|
