|samissa||Has anyone bought from this company before? I bought a D3200 for a "deal" on black Friday and got a repackaged lens. The lenses were poorly wrapped and there was no warranty info. When I returned it they charged me $87 for a restocking fee. This looks like a great deal, but I don't want that to happen again.|

I ended up kicking myself for not purchasing the previous T4i deals for 599. I bought the T4i & bag bundle for 649 shipped. The main reason I pulled the trigger on that was because a) they offered the Paypla Bill Later option and b) I was afraid that the price MAY go up versus down.
I hope that prices DO fall within the following days so I can call buydig and get some money back through their 30-day price match guarantee.

In this case - The T4i is so low right now and the price different is not much VS the T3i so I think T4i is a better deal

Whats the better deal? For $100 ($699)more you get the t4i but not the big lens, but the accessory kit. Or $650 for t4i just the camera and small lens.

I bought the T3i w/ 18-55mm lens last week from Canon direct (refurb) for $420.(free 2day shipping)
This is our first departure from a point-and-shoot, and we've been very happy so far. Took a hike up to Griffith Observatory on Christmas day, and got some great shots while learning the camera. I don't think my wife and I are ever going to be photo-buffs, so this was a great option for us without making a huge investment in a camera with lots of features we'd never use.

Of course if you wait next year it will be cheaper...But at $599 it is already about $300 cheaper than when it first came out.
It took T3i until this year to get to $599 price point

in a few months t4i will have better resale value..
Actually not sure why the T4i drop so fast. It was $900+ range when it first come out
There are many CL listing in Dallas for $640 T4i kit lens
and people still want $600 for their t2i or Rebel

|jerseymark||i am a beginner thinking of getting a DSLR but don't know if i would need the 75-300 lens. Is it a good lens for a beginner? or should I just get one of these with the regular kit lens alone?|
