|seal2b1||Isn't this sold on the shelf next to the shake weight and the tug toner , LOL.|

|pacman777||I'm an in-shape guy, but ended up getting the 8lb one after watching that video of the boxers having such a tough time with just the 12lb one. I hope this also tones chest and abs as well.|

|urameatball||Got this over a year ago and I absolutely love it! I compete in the NPC on the national level (bodybuilding) and this thing burns the hell out of my forearms and shoulders. There are different exercises/movements you can do with it - I like adding it to an HIIT routine on cardio days.|

|MRDC||What good is it for if you are not into boxing? Does it just give you endurance for keeping your arms up for a fight? Seems like you could do the same thing with 8lb dumbbells.|

|damnthatsadeal||^ yup get a real speed bag|

|kdiggz||I don't get it. Speed bag is for hand eye coordination not just endurance for your tiny shoulder muscles. Put this 60 bucks towards a gym membership|

Unless you're pretty jacked (lets say bench 2X your body weight), just get the 8lb one. It's hard to do for 2 minutes straight, and is a good way to wrap up a workout.
Worth it IMO.

Lot's of stuff on-line about this product/s, most good, some seemingly self serving and placed by the company. I have a feeling the green version's not as well built as the chrome metal and warranty/support is a bit spotty at best across the product line up. That said, if we get a year or two of good workouts in the comfort of our own home before it falls apart--perhaps it's worth the gamble.
FYI--I got the 'Burn Machine' chat line and this is what transpired....
Jason: Welcome to The Burn Machine! My name is Jason, may I help you find what you are looking for?
How may I help you?
Guest: It appears your (green and perhaps others) 'Burn Machine only has a 90 day warranty and then also includes buyer pay shipping PLUS a $25 'restocking' charge? Is that correct, please?
Jason: Good question! Please do allow me to verify on your concern. While on it, may I please have your name to properly address you?
Guest: Yes thanks--Robert here
Jason: A pleasure to meet you, Robert! By the way, where did you get the information on the 90 day warranty?
Guest: from your website:
"Return must be postmarked within 90 days of original purchase date. Units MUST BE RECEIVED WITH ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIALS, ACCESSORIES AND RECEIPT OF SALE. A $25 restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount."
Elsewhere, there's some ambiguous writing about a 'limited lifetime' warranty. I don't like to have to photo copy reciepts and retain packagaing for everything I buy that has a 90 day OR a 'limited lifetime warranty'--your info seems to conflict on-line.
Jason: I have that noted. This is what I will do for you, to insure we can meet your needs let me do this, I would like to get our Manager involved since he can talk to you about the price or discounts and warranty, and give you all the information you require, and make sure we can meet your requirements along with shipping prices, we certainly would love to earn your business. Would that be ok with you?
Guest: I have already placed an order a few moments ago, based on a VERY large website and didn't want to post negative info internationally as feedback. I know I can cancel my order if necessary.
Jason: You are welcome! Is there anything else I may assist you with?
Guest: where's the manager?
where's the answer about your warranty please?
restocking fees, etc...
Jason: Okay Robert. Our manager will contact you the soonest time as possible most probably on business hours. May I please have your phone number for any immediate questions?
Guest: I didn't even give you an e mail--how was a manager supposed to contact me?
I'd rather not give out my phone #
Jason: My apologies. May I please have your best email address to send you the necessary details?
Jason: Thank you very much. Before we wrap up, please spell your last name so we may properly address you?
Jason: Thank you very much for all the information you shared with us. I'll be forwarding this chat to my Manager as soon as we are finished and rest assured that we'll be in touch. Would there be anything else I may help you with?
