Got mine a few days ago.
Has anyone figured out how to display Netflix video info when watching Netflix? The Status button doesn't do anything...

Guess I'll have to keep my PBO since it seems to be the only device that will play anything I throw at it.

Once I figured that out, my setup got a lot easier to use. It's somewhat backward logically to feed audio to the TV then back to the HTIB, but works great.
You can even use an auto HDMI switch if your TV doesn't have multiple HDMI, or you don't want to hassle with switching them. Good for setting up your parent's A/V system.

How does the sound quality of this compare to a sound bar? Im looking to buy a cheap blu-ray and decent sound bar for about $200 total. Would I be better off buying something like this? I just need a sound bar or system like this to use for sound on my tv and blu-ray player and that would be it.
So in general, would a decent sound bar sound better than something like this or would this be a better deal? Thanks

|thcbeefcake||Just got this home and hooked up from Best Buy (Had $100 gift card). Connected HDMI from receiver to ARC HDMI port on my Vizio TV. I have my cable box and Xbox hooked to the TV via HDMI. Had to change a couple settings on the TV to get it to work but all in all set up went pretty easy. Pretty good deal for $200 considering it had a Blu Ray player and I didn't have one yet. I couldn't see my self paying $399 for it though, at that point buying separate components would be more tempting. Definitely better than a sound bar for the same price.|

I have a similar Panasonic SC-PT760 6 disc dvd/theater
[Has wireless rear speakers..GREAT SOUND!!! Only thing, with mine the cd changer crapped out on me and they discontinued that model...gotta look to see if I can find this Blu Ray/Theater receiver by itself
