I have two accounts, one business one personal I share with my family. Whenever I get MP3 credits, or purchase music on either account I cannot download from both accounts what I have a legal right to, on the same computer. I have to use a second computer (they just started this recently)
With iTunes I can simply sign out and sign into the new account and download what I'm legally entitled to.
It seems that the walled garden now belongs to Amazon and not iTunes as iTunes is less restrictive then both Amazon (devices tied to you account) and Google Play (download limit via web)

But Potato, Potah-toe. We all have different motivations. Personally, I don't share my music so Amazon works well for me. Some people may find media a highly social thing for them, then iTunes seems the right place. Amazon has the best legal digital mp3 downloads around, and I like bargain shopping, having found lots of artists I enjoy and want to support with my money in the 3.99 and under and the 5.00 specials categories. But to each his/her own.

Edit: Nevermind, I see you made another post correcting what you said.
My wife and I use my account for all Android apps, music etc.

So if you and your wife have two separate accounts you will need two different computers to download the songs...

Someone lives in the matrix
iTunes used to have a download limit, it was either 3 or 5. Amazon's open mp3 system helped change that. I'm not arguing for or against either, but one account per device makes no sense. If you're saying that I can't download Amazon mp3's without restriction, you're wrong. If you're saying I can't illegally share them by giving them away, I can (but that's illegal). If you're saying I can't share my Amazon music across multiple Amazon accounts, well you got me there. While you're at it, I can't share the toilet paper I bought from them, or the peanut butter, or the camcorder, and that really sucks!

You can download as many times as you want
Amazon is more restrictive now with one account per device
