I have the 520 in my desktop and the 840 Pro in my laptop. Highly recommend both and don't regret purchasing either one.

Thumbs up 1++, OCZ needs to have more sales, they were the competitor that brought SSD prices low, pro/non-pro doesnt mean much since my heavy gaming is fast all together with an SSD. first ones to load all the time bring back the 130$ 240gb SSD!

EDIT: I did some research and there's a few conflicting things. But I saw this article and it looks like the 13' and 15' models are compatible with SATA III.

Faster, uses less power, newer, speed doesn't drop for incompressible data (intel 520 uses Sandforce).
Both have good warranty, good reputation, fast speed, but I would go with Samsung 840pro if I can choose.
