You are correct..I had to call my dad to ask him. I could have sworn when I saw the box that it was the VT series but a V or a U. Close when you aren't paying 100% attention.

Edit: Are you sure it wasn't the 55UT50? That sounds more in that price range... the 55VT50's tend to cost *a lot* more

As long as you don't accept delivery of the defective tv, you don't pay return shipping.
Their customer service has actually been great, it is the white glove delivery or freight company that must drop the tvs.
Oh - and what can possibly go wrong on the fourth attempt, the white glove company just called and said they did not receive the tv today so they cannot deliver it tomorrow. Will call me back once they know when they'll have the tv. I thank that God gave me patience and my doctor just upped my blood pressure RX.

|Zarich||What a terrible review. They state the silver edging is amazing and not like that chintzy clear stuff.. and Yet I feel exactly the opposite.. that chintzy chrome crap which doesn't match the average persons decor.|

I purchased 65VT50 from Paul's TV and was told on the phone that stand assembly and component plugging/check was part of white glove delivery. Realized it was NOT when the delivery personnel refused to do so and told me it was not part of the service.
Powering on the TV did not reveal any physical / screen damage -- hence accepted delivery. Big risk. But, TV has worked beautifully since then. This was about 3 weeks ago.
