|chamiz||Anyone having problem with the charger? I bought 5 of them, 2 of them opened and pretty much burned out in less than 10 minutes...|

|maoyokhan||Thanks op! needed a wall charger and some extra cables.|

|kshell||I highly recommend spending the extra dollar for the travel charge combo. You get an AC wall charger that's not limited to 110 VAC (110-220V 50/60Hz inputs) with prongs that neatly fold for packing .|

|Jazzejohn||Just a heads up, the micro USB cable that comes with this package is for charging only, it is missing the data wires internally so you will not be able to use it to connect your device to a computer to transfer files and the like.|

I just received mine yesterday (it does take a while to ship, but it wasn't a problem for me), and I must say that it's pretty nice.
The Adapter itself is very small, about as small as a 12 volt adapter can be. The cables it came with are also seem really quality with the webbing around them. Worth $7.00 for sure. Since I have an iPhone 5 I need to get a spare lightning cable to keep in my car, but I knew that when I ordered it.

Apparently this charger's abilities is recognized by the iDevice, so the iDevice can determine that it can draw 1 or 2 amps. If the charger isn't recognized, the iDevice may draw 0.5 amps, or maybe none.

For $7.99, this is cheap for both a car and wall charger combo outputting 2.1A.

|BoldIntrepid||How is the quality on these? Are these durable? (and don't feel cheap?)|
