so imo, all lights not on the ceiling need to be off when watching this TV. On a sunny day, you only want to watch bright stuff, like an NFL game. I don't see the glare during an NFL game.
Otherwise the TV is fantastic.

Input lag is supposed to be good on the UT50 as well.
As for IR, you'd probably want to break in the TV before a lot of gaming with fixed HUDs or whatever.

|SPavs||How is this television for gaming? That is what I will primarily be using it for and of course watching television. I read on CNET that the burn in from gaming wasn't bad but then on AVS Forums I read that this tv isn't that great for gaming due to it being a plasma. Any recommendations from current owners?|

Still debating between this VS TCL55ET5@ Frys. Both stores are within 3 miles radius so pick up not issue. But frys have a no return policy for TVs.

|jgira12||looked at it today at my Costco here in Michigan...love the image...much warmer than most LED sets nearby. They had at least 25 of these sets...at the front door and in a regular slot in the aisles. Still on the fence because I really want a 60"...an LG 60" was nearby and just a tad more $$$$..may go back and get that one mainly for the size....tough choices...too many choices in this world nowadays.|
