|teamblinkkraze||the reviews on newegg are pretty bad. it has 4 stars, but most of the high ratings are simply "it's works" or "works great" without mentioning what they used it on and how much they use it. the detailed reviews mention that it's way slower than other class 4 cards and that it doesn't work well in cell phones. i was going to use this in my galaxy s2, but i'm going to have to turn down this great deal. I NEED A BIGGER CARD damnit|

|VladStar||IMHO class 4 it's too slow for 16Gb, will take about an hour to transfer full capacity data to the computer. Also my Canon full-HD camcorder wants class 6 or higher, when shooting at 30Mbps stream. I'll pass on that one.|

If you get one, do not save critical files to it or you will lose it.

But yeah man, if you had that dash cam you wouldn't have to worry about who's fault.
But then again all insurance companies are corrupted and evil out to steal every penny in your pocket anyway. Even if you had that camera and even if it did show that you honked. They gonna claim you were tailgating or too close to the car in front of you. But I'll my buy own insurance...I mean...my dash cam is my own insurance
Average dash cams are $50, good one's are $150, very good ones are $300. $300 + $20 for a 32gb card I would say $320 investment on a dash cam for a lifetime is good insurance for me.

Yes, I guess dash cams are a must-have thing in Russia. I've read it's due to rampant corruption, there's a more detailed article explaining it here:
I don't know if most Russians are bad/reckless drivers, but it sure looks it from the vids!
More to the subject, what's the minimum speed you need for a decent dash cam? Class 10?

|scorpio3012||Got one. Thanks.|

Also, I don't get what's with the dash cam in Russia, is it like a MUST-HAVE thing there?
When everyone think of dash cam people think of the Russians. Are they bad/reckless drivers?
I heard if you get into an accident in Russia you gotta run otherwise the other driver will beat you up, is that true?

Yep, I think a dash cam would be great for liability reasons like this. Ironic thing is most of those Russian dash cam vids incriminate the driver instead of exonerating them.

A-hole from behind told his insurance company I was at fault, denied my insurance claim. Lost my car. Lost tow money, lost storage money, lost a lot of money.
Suing that motherfcuker in court now.
Wish I had a dash cam during that time...now it's just my words against his...hope I win...wish me luck.

I've been watching Russian dash cam crash vids and been thinking I need one of those. You never know if what it captures might get you out of a legal bind or just capture something really stupid someone else does that's worth sharing.

Removing this card solved the problem for me, I am now using a Sandisk 32 GB (the one found here: http://slickdeals.net/f/5585212-SanDisk-Ultra-32-GB-microSDHC-Class-10-UHS-1-Memory-Card-30MB-s-with-Adapter-SDSDQUA-032G-U46A-Retail-Package-Prime-Eligible-17-99-shipped) and have not had any issues with it (although it does tend to run a little hot I have found).
Again, I guess for $5 it might be worth a shot, especially if you can find another use for it if it doesn't function well in your S3.
