Both of the drill and the battery have a "R" branding on the housing (it's on the bottom of the drill and top for the battery pack).

|bosfordjd||Bought two of these last time around, one for around the house and one for my grandfather. I already had 4 batteries for the lawn tools that run on the same battery so Grampus got both from this order. It's a relatively compact drill, 10 torque settings plus drill, it's great for around the house, but it would never replace my Bosch for large jobs. If you want something for putting up some curtains, hanging stuff, putting toys/furniture together this will do the job nicely. You won't find a lithium ion for cheaper I don't think.|

I got this new for Christmas over a year ago. I use it one to two times a month and have not had to recharge it since it's initial charge. It's your basic variable clutch drill except that the battery holds a decent charge for a long time and it is nice and compact.
If you use a drill more than a few times a month, I'm sure you'd be better off getting something better, but for your weekend handyman who hates having to charge the battery constantly, this is perfect.

its a good deal for a throw away drill but its a piece of garbage - yes it has a 2 year warranty but they are just going to replace it with more garbage.
I love how the warranty on refurbs is seemingly always better than new these days.....

this is the same BATTERY thats used in the Black and Decker 20v MATRIX system (interchangable heads so your drill can become other tools).
