Gah! It's dead! Here I was hoping I'd have a few days to think it over (it *is* a monster price to pay for a phone), and now it's gone already. Bah!
Well, apparently it's died and come back to life once already; let's hope it comes back again.

I have had iPhones up to 4S, switched to GS2, loved it. Then switched to Note II, it's in a different level.
First off, it's not huge, it fits in my pockets find except for one pair of jeans where the pocket is too small for the whole phone to go in (all my pants are tight fitting but not extreme). Unless you are wearing jeans that crushes your balls (if you do, phone is least of your issues), you should be fine.
Second, the battery life is great. 3100maH is a lot of juice, I can use it 12 hours a day (LTE, wifi left on, auto brightness, BT off) and still have 15-20% left when I get home.
To give you an idea how great the screen size is, when I use multiwindow, it's like having 2 iphones side by side, that's how small the iphones are.
Oh, and not having to deal with iOS anymore. I always jailbreak my iphones and ipads but I got no need anymore. I can do everything I want out of the box with Android. And here's something about your user experience...last night it took me 2 hours to update my iPad2 to 6.1 using iTunes. The update was 88mb only. Few days ago, my carrier pushed the new jelly bean 4.1.2 to my phone and it was 245mb, it took only 20 min to download and install and I didn't even need to connect to anything.
And to those haters going on about the size. Have you even held and use one? If not, try and see for yourself instead of just being a sheep. I have had a lot of experience using both iphones and androids, and I have made my educated choice.

I own an S2 and I know exactly what you're going through. If any smart phone could play your Netflix, this Note 2 would be it (and maybe iPhone 5).

|redshirt72||If this international version had LTE for Tmo 'hidden' on it, to be unlocked via a radio flash I'd be on it in a heartbeat, but I plan on holding on to this beast for a while and don't want to be left out of high speed once Tmo LTE goes live. Keep hoping that I can find a new, warrantied Tmo Note 2, but no luck so far.|

|p0llk4t||I can confirm that the Note 2 rocks. I almost feel bad for my friends when I see that combined look of awe and disappointment on their face as they hold their iPhone 5 next to it.|

|mig0||So this phone will or will not do LTE on AT&T? Wouldn't it do LTE on tmobile for markets that support the LTE 4 band? Or LTE is not available on this model at all?|

I was running my N7100 on ATT's GoPhone $50 plan since October. This month they finally figured out it wasn't a dumb phone and blocked data. They are now blocking the Nexus4 too. I suspect they are blocking them by imei and not sniffing because my Note1 N7000 was blocked from day one but hacking the imei got it working and the N7000 is working on the same sim that has the data blocked on the N7100.
I hear that on the postpaid dumb phone plans, the N7100 has had data recently blocked too.
And all N7100, N7102 and N7105 are considered imports and are not covered by any Samsung warrantees in the States. Import phones have always been that way, it's not a Newegg thing.

re-affirm that you have a non-working phone for which you paid via their cc
make sure to get a case #. for some credit card companies, you may have to send in a letter

It's not such a bad thing if it takes a while for us to get an answer, it means the price for the device may drop or a Note 3 may be released!!

BEWARE OF BUYING THIS PHONE FROM NEWEGG:
I bought this phone about a month ago, and despite using it like a piece of jewelry, the screen developed a crack. No pressure, no drops, etc. just one fine morning it cracked from one corner to another.
I contacted Samsung and they could not find the serial number in their system and suspected that it was an imported phone. They asked me to contact Newegg directly since they could not do anything about it.
I contacted Newegg and their so-called "90 day warranty" is handled by a third party company called "pdagiant". Their recommendation was to fill out a form with pdagiant and ship it directly to them for a replacement. I did some digging around and this pdagiant has a "F" rating on BBB. Some people have complained that they shipped their phones to this company and never got it back.
So I am stuck with a $600+ phone which cracked by itself and basically no one who can help me. I am thinking of giving the local repair shops a shot.
