The headband replacement came in today. Link: http://www.amazon.com/Replacement...B
I also let the headphones play for over an hour. Hopefully that "burned in" the pair. It sounded better and is more comfortable.

|nikhil711||I've had mine for a couple of days now and although SQ is great...they are a tad uncomfortable BUT I also realized i wasn't wearing them with a tilt (the headband should be moved towards the forehead. They felt better then. I ordered the Shure 840 pads and the recommended headband from Amazon just in case. I'm going to try the heat gun approach first, while trying to break it in a bit to see if theres a difference in comfortability before using the Shure pads and headband (I'd prefer to return them seeing that the mods cost $30 for a $20 pair of headphones). I will post here and the head-fi forums in about a month after solid use.|

|wilflare||how do these compare to the 201 Pro, HD419? or the Sony PULSE Elite headphones?|

But not to worry. I already planned ahead. I ordered the headband replacement on Amazon ($12.xx) . I heard they help alleviate the pressure.

From written reviews to reviews on youtube.
They aren't saying that they are a little uncomfortable, they are saying they are very uncomfortable.
Seems to be a hit or miss.
Some don't have a problem with the comfort but those do, well... they really are uncomfortable.

|Natosports||These came in the mail today. They are uncomfortable for sure. The pressure on the center point of the top of the head band keep pressing down on my head. It felt like a pin point pressure.|

As soon as I opened the box I wrapped them around my desktop tower, treated them with a heat gun and let them cool. Been wearing them for a couple hours so far and nothing bad to report so far. Did I need to shape them? I'm not sure but I did since someone recommended doing so for people with larger than normal noggins.
I do wish I got a shorter, coiled cord though as someone suggested. Of course didn't see the post til minutes after placing order.

They are my first pair of cans and I have zero complaints.
On the flip side, I'm looking to buy these 8323 from MP to have in addition to my 202s.
But I keep reading over and over about the lack comfort and how many can only listen for
10-25 minutes before they have to take the headphones off.

I had a pair of these and they broke due to misuse on my part. I really loved them and they're the best pair of headphones I've ever used. However, I don't know if I should buy another pair of these, spring for the Sennheiser 202s, or another pair that you guys recommend.
If I buy another pair, I'll be very careful with them, and probably try to buy a 3.5mm cord with built in volume controls because I really need those. Any other pairs I should consider before getting another pair of these?

Thanks for the help. As I said, the reviews over and over rave about the SQ, and likewise
the only cons are the lack of comfort. That is the only concern I have.
Does anyone know what additional gold plated cable people are buying
to improve SQ? I read it over on the hifi forum but no one posted a link
to the cable.
