$59 is undervaluing the NT significantly.

This deal is dead, back to $129. I think I got mine for around $89 a month ago.
B&N has just started a free APP of the day. 2 little 2 late, just grabbed the download https://www.n2acards.co
Not about to pay for apps twice so it's worth it to get the download and I'm not savvy enough to do it myself. Anyway I downloaded the 8GB version and now I just found a 32GB sandisk class 4. Gonna try it on the larger microSD and the 8GB one. Couldn't find the email support or phone number for n2acards , their link just brings up my account, no email address or phone listed.

|SGS-1||Is the CM10 rom 100% functional or are there some stuff that does not work? Are there any roms on xda that are better than others? By better I mean fully functional. Thanks|

If you only have $100 to invest in a tablet, and don't mind rooting, I'm all for the NT. But if you can swing the extra money for the N7 32gb and get i for $200, it's been a fantastic purchase.

Get a Class 4 or 6 SanDisk micro SD card and run CM10 from the SD card.
When the SD card is removed, you can still run a stock Nook.

|flamedduck||First time ever trying to install on any tablet. I've been working on this all day, and I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. I'm trying to install CM10 internally on Nook Tablet and I've followed the procedures in the wiki. At this point, I just want to finish it so, I have $20 via paypal to send to someone who can successfully guide me through the process over the phone. PM me with your phone number (or I can respond to your PM with mine if you prefer) ASAP if you're interested, looking to finish this tonight! Thx, Keith|

Thanks OP - was actually traveling this week -my crappy 4GB cheapo died on me - and I was desperate (and welcoming the opportunity) to upgrade a bit. My travels landed me near a Fry's - so I picked it up.
So my hotel room project was to get this thing modded - which I did, and it is fast, smooth and beautiful. No lag at all - everything has been perfect so far, exceeding my expectations. The display is beautiful - although if I had any complaint, it might be that the screen shows fingerprints more so than the cheapo I had been using, but that may be the trade-off for such a razor sharp awesome display. At $99 - i am more than happy!

According to Fry's website, today is the last day for the sale price.
Regular price is $129.99 I believe.

|solchitlins||My fiance wants a new e-reader for her birthday, her original nook is pretty beat up. It's hard to justify spending money on one when you can get an ipad for a couple hundred more, then again it's hard to justify an Ipad when tablets are so cheap, what to do? Right now I'm sort of on the fence with Nexus7, Nook HD and Ipad2. I also just found this Nook Tablets for $100, that's what I would do but she thinks it's too old.|

|TheBeginning||I really, really hate fanboys. The nexus 7 is a great device but guess what, so is the nook tablet. Is the nexus 7 100 buvks better than a nook table? Hell no. Can the people who use their tablet to skype or as a gps please raise theit hand? How about those that can tell the difference between 600p and 720p? The nost annoying thing about the nexus 7 is the storage. The 32gb model should be considered the base model and costs 250 retail. For 15 bucks you can get a 32 gb sd card and put it in the nook and for 99% of people the tablet will be functionally equivalent to a nexus 7. I would've stayed with my nook tablet but I wanted higher resolution for reading and got the nook hd. I am also a very happy ownet of an asus transformer infinity tablet so I am no fanboy. Devices need only be as powerful as what you need them to.|

Ok, Tech guys, I got my shipping notice today so it should be arriving soon.
I don't want to screw up the rooting thing, so what is a good site that you recommend to buy this rooted SD card? I've checked out N2A website and also the Root my Nook CM7? product on Amazon. Which one is better? I just want to buy the SD card, stick it in and start using the Rooted Nook. I don't want to mess with the rooting thing myself (think your wife or Mother or someone not computer savvy doing it and screwing it up). What would you suggest that they get? What website? What product?

|steveh_131||I bought one of these a few months back. Installed CM10.1 and it rocks and rolls. Very smooth experience, no complaints to speak of. I do wish that it had GPS and a front facing camera, but for $99 this thing is fantastic.|
