|gotfrank||I also received the i5 2.5GHz version today. Battery cycle count 4.|

What is the sad size you received? 256 or 512.

Due to issues with MacMall's shipping, I canceled my order with them and picked up the "refurb" I ordered from Apple - I've also got a 2.9GHz i7 in my rMBP which was supposed to be a 2.5GHz i5 (and as with the others, the box indicates it should be an i5).
it shipped out of their PA warehouse.
And, according to the system information app, my laptop has never been used as the battery cycle count is at 0. So I got a brand new 2.9GHz i7 13" Retina MacBook Pro (albeit in a refurb box) for $1420 w/tax. Thanks, OP!!

This is a tremendous product that has no equal in the industry. You won't find a 13" laptop with that screen, that weight, and that thickness anywhere.

This is what Apple wants you to do.

|LaFlair||Bought one for my daughter... I thought I got the i5 2.5 Ghz, but the unit arrived says 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 and only 1 battery cycle. Maybe the OS reports the CPU incorrectly?:|

I was very pleased with the quality of the ThinkPads I've used, but I haven't used their product for the past few years. They developed fan issues, but after several years of always-on use, I'm not sure a MBP would be flawless, either.
