I reported the damage to Paul's and they sent a new one. This one arrived without damage and I love the picture. Paul's was professional and responsive with the return and they treated me right.

|ixnu||Another return here. They should be called Downs because mine also had to go back to Pauls. They are shipping out a new one after I returned mine. It had two large dents over 10 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch deep. There were also several smaller dents and the screen was warped from the stress. Three of the styrofoam corners had failed. It must have been dropped over 6 feet!|

In same boat. Take the day off just to wait for the tv. Ups guy just carried the box by himself, not team lift like the sticker on the box suggests. I guess two guys is too much to ask for, so I didnot raise an issue. After the guy is gone, I noticed the top back part of the box is torn open, that to me is 2 box cutter cuts. The bottom tape is open on one end, had the other end not hold up, the tv could easily just drop from the box. I noticed the bottom tape after I sent out a complaint email to amazon, which price matched Paul's price for me. The tv seem to be working okay, despite the damaged box. Hope I didnot speak too soon.
Amazon said they will give me a 15% refund if I keep the tv. I am leaning towards keeping it because I don't have the truck to pick up a tv at local store and will probably need to order online again if I return this one. Who is to say the next box is not going to be just as bad or even worse.
Do u agree?

Wow! Got my set tonight and was excited. Been looking for a TV since September and this model fit the bill, at a pricing level I could afford. Bad news. The box looked like it was dragged behind the truck. Now I working with Pauls on a return.
Question is should I just get a refund or should I try again? Not confident in the major carrier they're using. My staple paper towels came pristine, yet something that should have been handled with care, looks like it was thrown several times. And not by the delivering driver. He didn't wait for a signature (not surprised when I saw the box)

|dbpaddler||Yes. It has ethernet. Mentioned a Satechi wierless adapter a few times in the thread if you want to go that route. I might run another ethernet cable to the basement. Haven't decided yet. Mine is already up above my fireplace now. Night and day over my 1080i Sharp LCD which is now in my bedroom. I hope I can sell my 720p Pany plasma for $200-250.|

is there a ethernet port for this tv? if anyone know...
i think i will go with the wired connection as well. have the wire from the wall, then my motorola modem, then my laptop. can i connect to TV instead of my laptop when the tv comes?? i looked at the specs, and don't seem to find an ethernet port... did i miss anything??
now i have more reason to love this tv.

My brother went wireless and laugh at me, cause I ran wire. When he saw how much faster wired connections were, he stopped laughing. And then he wired his house.
Also ran into issues with my new laptop getting kicked off the network. Too much traffic (wireless). Set my router to a channel my neighbors weren't using and no more issues with the laptop.

|Deepo11||If I hook this up to a router with eithernet cable, is there any benefit is getting a Blu Ray player that has built in wifi? Essentially would this have all the features from streaming stand point as blu ray player with wifi?|
