|sweesinclair||I lost my base for my Westinghouse 50" tv, anyone looking to sell theirs? Just moved out of a house into an apartment, and can't hang my tv anymore.|

The next day when I returned it, I looked again and most were gone.
Probably employees and their discount.
I cannot imagine people like this westy unless two things:
1. They view exclusively high def content
2. They really don't care about picture quality, clarity or color/contrast
Probably good for gamers who just want something big.
I'm going to probably get a 42 inch brand name or highly rated model instead.

Now down to $350. But it appears that Target is clearing out a bunch of TVs now, and I think there may be better choices available.

Mine is going back tomorrow.
Horrible picture and doesn't upscale cable TV well at all.
Plus it uses 100 watts no matter what brightness setting I have it on, most other LED brands use half that, some even less than half.

Still haven't got around to burning the color calibration disc others have mentioned either.

Can you believe I just found one of these in the box for $360 in my store?
I guess I paid $60 too much and will evaluate it before keeping it.
Since this is now in deal talk and I am not bumping hot deals, what do people think 90 days later?
Just unpacked it - I don't think I realized how huge 50 inches is - it's actually too big for this room!

|MakeitRainDolla||i guess for $300 bucks you can't go wrong for a second bedroom tv. The picture can have issues depending on type of signal. Blacks start to look really grainy even on bluray.|

Down a bit
Now down to $450. Just one remaining question: Why am I still doing this?
|05-03-2013 10:45 AM|
Still at $500
Remaining inventory at my local store is still priced at $500 (FWIW)

Now gone from online inventory altogether. I'll be interested to see what the price of this TV is now in the store (if any remain . . .)
