|airos4||Not loving GMG. Website keeps throwing server errors when I'm trying to create the account; finally lets me through, and the email that you get to "confirm your email account for new users" leads to a 404 error. Calling this one garbage for me, would rather just pay more for a working service.|

|xveganrox||Just got it and played for an hour then lost my progress due to a glitch that's been around since October, according to the support forums - and there are no autosaves. Might try again tomorrow. I recommend you save frequently.|

|Zorn||Needs more help. My Paypal is the exact same as my GMG email, it says they deny it because they think its a gambling site. My debit card and other credit card both also fail. When I call the CC companies, they say no transaction was ever attempted.|

Just picked up XCOM. Haven't played this series since the 2nd one, hope it's as fun as that one WAS (tried again a few years ago... it hurt).
Of course my CC was declined, so I had to use paypal. Oh well, at least I got to talk to the fraud department at the bank

Ok, so for everyone who has had issues, like I have. Short story - try doing the order from your phone. I was able to place my order just now. I used paypal.
Longer story: I had contact support and was told - "Hi, Thank you for your enquiry, I am sorry to hear about your payment issues. I have investigated this issue for you and can see that the payment is not being processed due to inconsistencies between your billing address and your location.
Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause."
I asked for more info and didn't get a response. I had tried with my paypal, with my visa. I called my bank, they said they were never even prompted to pay.
My guess is they use the location for your ip and match that with your billing address.
