|oopsz||Rebate arrived yesterday. It's in a plain white envelope - easy to discard, so be careful.|

|The Debater||Given the small capacity of space that the router has, should anyone want to expand their router with a USB flash drive, this guide did it for me: http://klseet.com/index.php/tl-mr...ap-extroot|

|TetterkeT||I am apprehensive of switching to a 3rd-party firmware since previous router/firmware combinations have thus far been unable to address my needs. I've got this router working and I am curious if anyone can help me with the built-in Bandwidth Control settings. I have posted a thread on tp-link's forum.|

UPDATE: link has been added. Thanks drawz. I've tried to edit those things before and it never seems to work right for me.

Yes, it's the bar code label at the side of the box, to the right of the FCC #.. Just cut it out and tape it to the rebate form.

Sorry if this is a stupid question and has been answered somewhere, but the rebate claim form asks to attach the original upc code. Is that the barcode on the box and do they want me to cut out that piece of cardboard and glue it to the form?

I know there isn't and I've been guilty of moves like that myself a few times over the years. I was thinking maybe a priority conflict within Windows if the old one happen to be broadcasting still. Have you run something like inSSIDer to make sure the new router isn't using a frequency within the spectrum that isn't subject to high traffic spikes which could lead to dropped connectivity?
