On a travel site that I frequent, members really like the Skiva PowerFlow QuadFire charger

|RAGEo2||Got my chargers a few weeks back and one charges a Nintendo DS, Ipod 4, and a HTC Evo overnight with no issue. On the second charger we charge 2 nook tablets and we let them charge all night to a full charge in the morning.|

Not very good reviews

|ndno||Blah... this charger is mediocre. It takes a long time to charge my Samsung S3 and it won't charge it fully overnight. Neither is it capable of charging my Kindle Fire overnight. This may be good for devices with small battery capacity but not that great for those with bigger capacity. And yes, I'm only charging one device at a time.|

Here's the one I got a year or so ago, spreads the charge among ports so you can fast charge 2 at once. Also nice that the ports are on the side, not the bottom:

Does anyone know if this will work for the goofy* logic Apple put on iPod Touch 3rd gen and iPhone 5?
(*Goofy Logic: Makes it so some chargers cannot be used for charging those models even though the exact same charger will be able to charge a 2nd gen iPod Touch or a iPhone 4/4S)

EDIT: Wow, quick reply is broken.
If you've got experience with this as well I'd love to hear it:
Many USB hubs will randomly drop out devices like USB audio adapters. The only decent one that didn't was, again, the squarish Belkin. If you've got any other good models you know of I'd love to hear them.

and I put it in my "Executive wooden multiple device charging station" and need only one wall plug that goes to my USB hub and the rest of the cabling is just USB cables. Since it is a 7-port, I can double up with a "y" USB cable to get an amp out of the deal.

Also I've found that a lot of those $5 hubs don't reliably charge 4 devices. Don't know if I'm just doing it wrong or what. I tried some of those cheap $2 hubs from China, and a couple of the cheap $5 mini usb hubs made for laptops. Some of them seem to short out, or after some time just stop charging one of the devices. Doesn't happen with these.
Maybe I just bought junk usb hubs. The only '<$10 hub I've found that works reliably with all 4 ports in use is the squarish Belkin one with high ratings on Amazon.
But yes, it seems like even though they're more expensive ($30-40), the 4 port chargers with 2A, 1A ports seems to be a lot more useful. You can charge multiple tablets on one of those, whereas these won't work.
