Now the fight begins, because let me tell you, I am getting the $100 Amex gift card. The Better Business Bureau is my friend.
Oh and buyer beware of the address they provide (the one in San Diego). 4myrebate.com is really a Florida company called Worldwide Rebates, Inc: http://www.bbb.org/south-east-flo...complaint

first off even 60hz TV's vary as to how well they can handle motion
The next variable is some people can just plain tolerate more motion blur than others
Next...this TV and it seems most LG's ( and a few other brands) dont have true motion interpolation built into their picture processing capability
They use a backlight scanning method to simulate frame interpolation
Simulated frame interpolation is not true frame interpolation
There are some professional reviews online( CNET) detailing the differences in the each
Whether or not you can see 1080P is due to a few variables
How big the Tv is
How far away you are from it when viewing
How good your eyesight is
How good the picture quality of the TV is

|carloo||This rebate crab is risky. There is always risk involved. I don't like to take the risk on the rebate. I have done it a few times and I was burned couple of times so I really try to stay away from it if I can.|

You still pay that $100 rebate and takes up to 2 months to get back. So your not technically saving that much right now. Even though it is still really tempting|

Chatting with TigerDirect Rep. He indicated that valid date is 2/18/13-2/20/13.
I posted the link indicating 2/23/13 but he didn't say it was valid. So I end up cancelling my order. So buyer Beware.

For those that have not ordered the LG 47" yet and are wanting to get the $100 MIR. I clicked on the highspeedbackbone link:
Says "Valid on orders made between: 2/18/2013 through 2/23/2013"
Now when you click on the claim online link:
Says "Starts: 02 / 18 / 2013 Expires: 02 / 20 / 2013"
What is the actual purchase time frame to get the $100 MIR?
