Lol, I think you're right, playing second fiddle to Kmart isn't a distinct honor. I really appreciate things coming to the door with no hassle and most of us don't have sales tax.
I may just keep this thing indoors as a backup home defense system, such sharp corners on the ice scraper.

|antsmarchn||I have this and I have some mixed feelings about it. We own 4 of them for the entire family. First off, it's great for removing a lot of snow at once due to the length. Now for the bad parts. The "lock" that allows you to lock the extension is useless in heavy and/or wet snow. I have had the head remain motionless as the brush collapses in length since it can't move the snow. I have had the ice scraper break off 2 brushes as well, which is great when trying to clear ice.|

All-in-all it's solid enough that I definitely wouldn't want to get hit with it.

Not flimsy at all, it's great. Ordered it in 2010, this was it's 3rd season. Still going strong.

Discounted due to Global Warming.
I did not need to shovel snow nor scrape my windshield once this winter. Thanks Climate Change!

It's heavy and sturdy and I am very sure it would not feel like a Swiffer or Dollar Tree broom if someone whacked me with it

in MD, people can't be bothered with cleaning the tops of their vehicles...
This looks filmsy though.

Funny, I just picked up one from the Kmart deal I posted a couple of days ago. It's still available for store pickup there for $5, plus some additional models. It's seems pretty rugged from what I can tell, so I don't know about the negative reviews. Perhaps the plastic gets brittle?
