Anyone return their laptop? I purchased this as a Youtube/surfing machine for my mother-in-law. These gimmicky Windows 8 gestures on the touchpad are horrible.
Can anyone comment on the Windows 8 experience after regedit-ing the gestures out? I think if I got rid of them it would be pretty decent, but I'm inclined to think the touchpad is majorly sucking as well.

|ItsTheFatKid||I plan on returning this laptop over the weekend. I agree that it feels slow and the touch pad is pretty bad as well. I thought I might be able to get used to the resolution, but after a few hours I think it is just horrible. Trying to write code on this laptop is pretty horrendous as I lose most of the screen between the visual studio toolbar and the task bar.|

Can anyone who purchased this check the HD capacity? The website/specs say 750 GB but I see Total Size
C: is 651 GB (free 624 GB)
D: is 24.9 GB (free 22.4 GB)
What happened to the remaining 75GB? Or maybe Windows 8 shows things differently?

|Beardown34||Wow windows 8 is pretty hard to get used to. I'm going to wipe to windows 7 as soon as I make sure I can restore to the original windows 8 install if I decide to return the laptop.|

|Ticodude||I was also able to rush over to Staples 5 minutes before closing, and they accepted my expired $75 coupon, too. Thank God for my stack of ink rewards!|

I grabbed this laptop yesterday and immediately started looking for a way to get a SSD in there. Just as a heads up to anyone else who may be looking I found some info here https://forums.lenovo.c
I definitely should have mentioned that the adapter kits I was looking for were to switch out the optical drive for a SSD (or other 2.5" drive).
