As an aside, and I am probably a doofus ... I thought the "Bible" he had was blank (empty pages), not Braille. I thought he had memorized it (as was not uncommon LONG ago when things were passed via word of mouth). Yeah, I guess I need to pay more attention during a second read through.
That being said ...
Best case scenario for the atheist is that when they die ... nothing. Worst case, they go to hell.
Best case scenario for the believer ... nekkid virgins and little umbrella drinks on the heavenly beach. Worst case, nothing.
Hard to figure out which way to go!

|yesyoucant||I noticed that this BluRay is also $6.98 inside Sam's Club; appears to be a regular price, at least, at the Evans, CO location. YMMV.|

Either way, references to the Bible and God didn't ruin the movie for me, but then again, I'm not an Atheist.

So it's not that I didn't like it because of anything god related.. I didn't like it because there's a giant twist that didn't make sense. Of course everyone is fooled by it

Thought it was a good movie and it made sense to me. Not sure why all the Atheists have to drop by and bash it.
In for a "1 To 3" week wait.
Thanks OP and repped.

Uh yes he was.
real Eli in the Bible ... should you ever read that book. <-- I recommend that you do.
It's a real good book.
Eli in the movie was blind.. and the bible he carried was written in braille.
Eli was the only person left in the world that could interrupt what was written on the pages since he was blind and was taught to read braille.
If he wasn't blind then why the whole movie was he so hell bent on getting the book he carried to someone who could print it into written language.
If he could see then why not just write the book himself.

|RHCCapri||Thanks, but I am waiting for the Braille version.|

Well that seals it, now I HAVE to buy. (I'm joking, why would anyone care about this?)

Don't forget that there were 3 actors from the Harry Potter series in the movie as well.
Professor Dumbledore from Movies 3-7b
