Hellary spoke of fighting against the NRA in her "debate".
She made no mention of GOA.
The NRA has the largest and most dominant voice in fighting the left and the gun control crowd, and they have a necessary place in the fight.
I support GOA and the NRA, but the left and the brady bunch would absolutely love to see the ranks of the NRA decimated so as to make them ineffective.
I won't go into detail or engage in an "NRA debate" as the NRA isn't perfect, they have their faults and I have several disagreements with some of the organization, but I want them to remain strong and a powerful voice for the preservation of gun ownership rights for the law-abiding gun owners. We would have lost the battle long ago if it weren't for the NRA.

My brothers and every single I have friend hunt and I don't know any of them to be in the NRA. My brother has voiced opposition to them, but not because he feels they are anti-gun, but because he got a little paranoid that it was a convenient list of gun owners. I find that a bit weird because he is not a tin-foil hat wearing person.
To top this whole thing off I never said I hated the NRA. It's not like they are the KKK. They are a group who is trying to support a legal product and they are the one's I generally see associated with guns in the media so I don't even know how GOA fits in here. Tell me more about how you perceive them before I read about them.

These people have no problem with calling for a ban on all semi-autos, or on magazines with a higher capacity than 10, or 7, or whatever lower number would be next.

The irony in your post... in one breath you claim "the other side" is exaggerating then you go on to mischaracterize the NRA.

At that's why nothing will worthwhile will ever happen on guns, or police. To many stupid motherfarkers [gun advocates let's call] them believe that if anyone else believes there are cop murders then they [the advocates] naturally jump the the logical fallacy that these people [gun moderates let's call them] must then believe [I]all[I] cop killings are murder and they [moderates] have to hate all police and think there should be no police force.
Ditto with gun 'bans'. Most people just want some sort of measures to happen, but very few actually want any kind of major ban. Of course, the NRA sees anything other than more guns and more people getting and more easily as a attack on our freedoms which, of course, it's not.

Suppressors should not be class 3. They are hearing protection devices. I once witnessed a young shooter being taught the basics of safe shooting on a single shot .22 LR, and a jerk came to the lane next to the child with a non-suppressed SBR that was so loud, it made the kid cry. Anti-suppressor idiots who watch movies of truly silent guns (which don't exist) in the hands of assassins use that as the basis for their opinions of suppressors. They imagine a barrage of movie-type assassins killing at will. Those of us who have shot suppressed firearms know that they are not silent. They are roughly analogous to putting foam ear plugs in. In reality, they are hearing protection devices that should be freely available over the counter with no ATF involvement, whatsoever. Suppressors are not dangerous in any way. In fact, in some European countries, it is considered rude to not use a suppressor when shooting.
