|Q_N1NJA||My free Earforce M1s showed up today.|

We are sorry for the unexpected delay, as it turns out there was an overwhelming response for the M1 shipment, and our inventory was depleted. We will send you another one as soon as we replenish our inventory, which should not be longer that 10 days.
Thank you so much for your patience. Rest assured that you will receive it.

tl;dr It's not specific so I expect it to work for future generations.

|dyrne||Anyone care to speculate how well these will work with the next gen xbox and playstation coming out later this year? At 200 bucks I might hold off if not supported. Do they usually release adapters if necessary?|

|TheBigmac||Actually I'm glad you brought the thread back from the dead because I think we've been had. I haven't received anything either. Did anybody receive their earbuds? Anybody at all?|

|xenomega||Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but did anybody that registered for the earbuds receive them? It said 4-6 weeks and it's been about 8 for me|

Yea it's a battle of best and most # of features with weaker comfort and quality (turtle beach) vs best headset design but nearly nonexistent features besides the ability to stream music via 3.5mm during gaming (A40, A50).

I've been comparing the Astro A50s and the TB Tangos for the past 2 weeks. I'll be returning one of them in a week or so.
The comfort of these headsets is pretty subjective depending on how sensitive your ears are, if you wear glasses, how big your head is, etc.
For me, the out-of-box comfort of the Tangos was too tight. They need to be broken-in so the tension of how tight the earpads clamp on your head is not as tight. The other issue I've run into is the ear pads themselves are fake leather and heat up over time. If I wear them over an hour or so, they get pretty hot. If I keep these, I may try replacing the ear pads with some velour or the XP500 mesh pads that are more breathable than the fake leather pads. I prefer the comfort/fit of the A50s over the Tangos. One ironic design decision of the Tango is they added a lot more padding on the top of the headset rather than on the part that rests on your head. This also adds to the potential discomfort.
The 2nd major issue I ran into with the Tangos is the audio quality over Bluetooth for PC voice chat. Turtle Beach themselves acknowledges that these are not designed for use with the PC and actually on their forums, recommends against using the Tangos if your primary use is for the PC. Voice quality when using Skype, Mumble, TS, and other PC voice applications over Bluetooth was poor when compared to the A50s over KleerNet. TB was saying that we couldn't adjust the Bluetooth quality beyond 8khz when you configure voice properties in Windows. Maybe if they used Bluetooth 3.0/4.0 and allowed for higher quality voice, then the voice quality issue would be fixed.
Best Buy seems to be alternating when they put these on sale:
12/20 - 1/1: $249.99
