People who did the promo in February received points (10k) for use in March.
So, I'm guessing people who did the promo in March will get points (7k) for use in April.

Just though I would share this. I had $5 in points expiring today and found this: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_1015...322556
TRON Black Light Cycle 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive $5.99
Got free shipping with my free SYWMax so it ended up only costing $1. Probably not the best flash drive but it had pretty good reviews on amazon and it looks cool.

I used to redeem just the free bonus amount before their short expiration date. The regular purchase points I already had before the bonus would be saved, and kept adding up as normal. Now I just spend them both, because the points help reduce the tax amount.
I think you have one year to spend regular points, and the date keeps getting reset every time you earn more regular points.
BTW, you do realize you can choose to only redeem $0.01 out of your $15 scenario? You can adjust the amount to what you want out of your existing balance. It's at the final checkout when you click "Redeem My Reward Points".

I have a question about using points when I have a rewards balance that consists of bonus (expiring) and purchase (not expiring) points.
Let's say I have a total of $15 worth of points:
$5 - from bonus points - expires 3/4/2013
$10 - from purchase - no expiration shown
What happens if I buy something worth $5 only? (Let's ignore tax for this hypothetical situation.) Will the $5 purchase use up the 5000 points that are expiring 3/4/13 leaving me with 10,000 that will not expire on 3/4/13?
Or, will $5 be deducted from my $15 balance after which they'll take $5 (5000 points) after 3/4/13? Or, some other scenario...?

There is a March 31st expiration for the VISA promo points. In my account history, it shows "10,000 points for being a Valued Member - Redeem at Sears". I also received my email notice after I had already started this thread.
The random ones from SYW Rewards have a March 4th expiration. The email notice will not mention the VISA promo.

What does the Visa 10k points look like on your account?
I have 10k on my account but I'm not sure if it was from the Visa or from this deal.
