Gonna bottle it up in regional blends: MOUNTAIN tarp salt, VILLAGE tarp salt, CAMPER/RV tarp salt. HARBOR FREIGHT tarp salt! NASCAR tarp salts (warning - high metal content). Make BLUE Lowes vs ORANGE Home Depot tarp salts! Will sell it for crazy money!

|iluvu4eternity||why are people so picky when it comes to "food" deals on slickdeals. they are so critical about ingredients. DEAL IS DEAD, must be minimum of 10$|

Having the ability to mix your own spices from scratch instead of paying $3 to get it made for you is a 'self-care related skill'?
What are you smoking?
Not everyone wants to spend their time making spices from scratch.
Get off your high horse.
And btw, the person you were responding to was (somewhat rudely) just asking them to post a list of the ratios of the ingredients of the spices.
But doing that would be useful and not conducive to this argumentative atmosphere.
So, all you people saying "oh this is so much cheaper if you make it yourself"-
I'm glad you have free time on your hands and/or enjoy cooking so much, but some people just want to make food and spice it up a little bit without becoming a connoisseur.

|eryeal||Can't wait for the make-your-own-spicers to start invading any and all perfume threads. If they can make their own spices, I think it's natural to assume they are on the make-your-own-perfume bandwagon as well. After all, perfume is mostly water ........|

|Hydrogurl||Well the Chinese 5 spice (3) is a good deal. Red Monkey sells on Amazon - free shipping with prime and the prices on Amazon are less expensive than here. Suggest you watch what you purchase to get a "deal"|

Just came back from there today, powder garlic, paprika, pickling spices were all 1.25 for1/4 lb. The imported italian polenta was 69 cents a lb.

I for one count labor into doing anything like this. My labor rate makes this significantly higher than 80 cents. Around 2 bucks for this is a good deal in my opinion.
I would also like to know how he knows it is 90% salt. Being first on the ingredient list, yes it is the highest percentage salt but this in no way means 90%.
