|TzuDhoNym||The fact that $80 for a 32GB memory card is considered a deal shows just how criminally overpriced these cards are to begin with.|

Yea, the memory card issue and people like him are the reasons I wont buy a Vita and hopes it fails so we can get the games and accessories at clearance prices.
Until then im perfectly happy with my idea of portable gaming, which is e-readers and SNES/Genesis roms on my hacked PSP 1000....... thats taking full advantage of the system I'd say.

i don't know if Sony realizes that they are actually hurting the sales of their PSN store themselves by grossly overcharging their memory cards.
it is ridiculous.

SONY READ THIS!!!!
I already own a 8gb card and I will not buy another Vita game or a memory card UNTIL you lower your absurd prices on the vita memory cards So they are priced more in line with that of a equivalent sized mirco SD card. mIm

I gave up on waiting for an official price cut (lol) and caved in on a 32gb (pm'd Newegg's price at BB so I could use some RZ certs). 8gb just wasn't cutting it, especially after the Final Fantasy half off sale and all of the PS+ goodies.
A lot more breathing room now with the 32gb and am thinking of using the old 8gb towards a JP account for PSO2... however it's kind of a pain that Sony hasn't addressed the whole swapping between memory cards messing everything up issue.

Slow. Buggy. But the hope (on Sony's part) is that it will slow and/or deter hacking and piracy.
I'd even go along with it, if they'd even drop the price to memory stick ranges...
All that said, still love my Vita - my favorite handheld by far. Just keep watching SD - I managed to get a 16 GB card for $42 a month ago, thanks to SD. Room for a lot of games, plus the apps you need and want.
