I just got mine today and I'm not totally sure it is real either. I just contacted Alfa with my info. Hoping for good news. It really wouldn't surprise me is 1saleaday sold me a counterfeit though. I don't have a good history with them. I almost didn't buy this due to that fact...
Just got an email back letting me know mine is genuine. My box however does look a little bit different from the pictures on the data-alliance site.

My adapter arrived, but the front and back of the box doesn't match the genuine product according to this page:
So what do I do with this counterfeit? Do I send it straight to Alfa to exchange for a genuine one?

It's back again at a slightly higher price of $16.50

|monkeybiz||wow, almost a month to ship this adapter. Finally got tracking for 3/25 with 1saleaday. Not sure it's worth the aggravation.|

I did a quick Google search for you anyway, it looks like you have you load the realtek module manually. if you want to load the module automatically, put it on one of the startup script/rc local/modprobe.conf

|shadowlesswalls||I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped since the 1st of march. UPS tracking just tells me they sent the information on the 6th with no other update. Anyone have a better experience or know if this is normal?|
