That camera would be a week old in my hands...
I'd be happy with anything under 1000 for a pre-owned body.
it is literally about 1-1 on the mileage you'd expect on a car. would you complain about 144 miles on a used car?
i'd be more worried about "rolled back odometers" with numbers so low... these are all great deals at just 300. that's more less than 50% the original price and this is a fairly recent model.

|blackb1rd88||250 shutter count and looks brand new. One does wonder why people return these things though. I can't complain!|

|jenarch||Got mine today. Super jealous of everyone who got shutter counts under 10, mine was 144, which isn't too terrible.|

I have the D70 kit lens Nikon 18-70mm DX lens, Nikon 50mm f1.8 AF-D (not AF-S), Nikon 35mm AF-S. I also have a SB-600, a tripod , and a monopod (my favorite accessory).
Actually, I was looking for a new DSLR - T3i to shoot some sports photography - my kid's soccer. I have a mirrorless camera , but the autofocus was not cutting it.
I was set on buying the Nikon 70-300 VR with a budget of around $500. While researching, I'm also considering the Tamron 70-300 VC SP. But I also noticed that I could snag the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 no VC or the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 HSM no OS for $600.
The Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR would be nice used ~1000, but its out of my price range.

|cakesmashers||~1200 shutter count. Mine looks absolutely brand new. Can't complain. Congrats to the guys that did get a lower shutter count though. I am a little jealous. Other people might possibly get 1000 more shots than me. Ehh I think I'll survive.|
