How to be eligible for both DTD 50 off and still submit Kumho rebate?
Kumho has 50 dollars off any set of 4 UHP tires (Ectsa 4x and etc) but that rebate requires a sale date of April 1. TR was willing to sell me 4 today and say it matters on the ship date from TR.
How do you get the 50 off from DTD which ends 3/31 and still meet the 4/1 criteria for the MFG's
4/1 start date for the 50 dollar Kumho rebate.
Those Ecsta 4x's are awesome UHP all seasons and DTD is cheaper as they ship free and TR charges 45 dollars?
Anyone help please?
PS...the 31st is Easter...good luck finding either open

I have a 2001 Camry CE at 100K miles. Do not want to spend too much buying Defenders.
Also I need to spend again for mounting and wheel alignment.
1) Can some one suggest decent brands for 100K car
2) "Certificates for Refund or Replacement " Is this necessary ?

|kbreese||If anyone has any doubts by the way, DTD is top notch. I've been ordering from them for MANY years. Great prices and outstanding customer service. Find it cheaper and they will price match or price-beat. Simple as that. The other big heavy hitter online tire retailer is, of course, the Tire Rack which is also top notch but they DON'T price match. Big difference. As far as installation goes, try and find a Firestone place near you. By me at least they have by far the best install prices. You can always ask local places to price match too, but there's the tax issue. For me in NY with 8.65% tax and paying $1k+ for my tires the difference is significant.|

@ peachspecial Yes, Discount Tire still provides free balancing and rotation for the life of your tires if you purchased them from them. And they do a good job, here at least! Last time I was in for the B & R they used an air powered wire brush to clean the mating surface for the rotors and the rims.
But wait, there's more! They had the tires back on the car and started pulling them back off and I wondered what the heck. The had put the wheel weights on the out side of the rims--the side you see looking at the car--they pulled the weights and rebalanced all four with the weights on the inside of the rim and out of site. That pretty good service these days.
I also found on the last November black Friday sale that the local store would price match their own online prices. I did the chat thing and printed out the quote and took it in and the store matched it. I have also had them price match other online prices too.

Hah. Summer tires...Miata and Speed3, I expect ~14k out of my tires. I look forward to the next time purchasing so I can get something even grippier.
Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
