|rebateblahblah||Parago tracks rebate addicts. If rebaters are 100% accurate and to the T&C of the rebate forms they do not care. Parago will blacklist prior to informing its affiliates to get you to stop. The trigger number of rebates per year is likely around 365 (1 per day). Once you are on the list, you are done. File suits to claim prior unpaid rebates.|

I've been following this Parago Rebate Audit issue for the past few weeks. Although I have submitted close to $1000 in Symantec rebates for the past year, I have not had one of them go into Audit Review status and have gotten my rebates for every one of them.
As far as Panda is concerned, I haven't done that many rebates with them (maybe 5-7 over the past year with a value maybe @$250). The latest one I did was for a "$45 Mail In Rebate with Purchase of Panda Global Protection 2013 3 User at newegg.com or neweggbusiness.com". That one was received on 1/11/13 and the check was mailed out on 3/18/13.
So, from my standpoint and from what I've read, they are cracking down on the uber-rebater who is upsetting the ISV's (Independent Software Vendor) distribution channel by offering a lower cost product on eBay. Basically, they are trying to neuter their competition.
I just don't like how they are doing it after-the-fact, without warning or even offering any tools to know when you have crossed the line. So, when it comes to rebates with Parago, Caveat Emptor!

Any rebate through FRY's is a scam. My rebates (legal) are rejected 9 of 10 times. never go for FRY's rebate unless you thoroughly document and take the time to go to FRY's customer service to argue the case.

|Superocean||Parago is now offering manufacturers an audit process so that they can now cut down on payments to rebaters but add more to their pockets with new audit processing fees and such. So simple and so clear what Parago is doing. See what they did with Norton as well.|

I agree. Parago is providing a new service.

|rc9238||I'm having this problem with Panda, and also with Trend Micro, Smith Micro, AVG, etc. (all through Parago). Although Parago says that the manufacturer is initiating this, it's odd to me that this problem is happening with multiple manufacturers at the same time. It would be a very odd coincidence that all of these manufacturers would be denying rebates for the same reason (missing UPC) and at the exact same timeframe.|

Panda rebates going invalid (like symantec) all say missing UPC
WARNING WARNING WARNING
Panda is invaliding rebates dating back as far as 12/17/2012
Check your rebates now! Rebates were valid and previously confirmed with tracking numbers in e-mail. Now all are changing to Invalid with Missing UPC.
Parago customer service states it was invalidated by the manufacturer.
They also state a place to contact panda email@example.com.
I would start sending your forms to Fry's and hope their rebate department will help.
