That's pretty impressive especially since the card came out a month ago.
It seems to be comparable to the GTX 680. I know some people are going to argue against this, but just check out the benchmarks. It seems to edge out the GTX 680 in a lot of games. I think the GTX 680 still wins on 3-monitor gaming though (usually the single powerful card does because of the memory).
Not sure if this is what you're saying, but you don't need to have the same brand anymore. You can use any GTX 650 Ti Boost. I don't think it'll be too difficult to find. The GTX 650 Ti Boost is going to be the next GTX 460 imo. There's going to be plenty of these floating around.
But yea, power consumption, noise, and case heat are the drawbacks. However, I do think this card will hit $130 or lower so sub-$260 for GTX 680 performance is a pretty good deal.
In NVidia's history of cards, the really popular cards were the 8800 GT, and GTX 460. I think the GTX 650 Ti Boost is going to be that next popular card.

but what do i know, I bought a 7970 before the 670's were out and only just now playing my first game, SC2. It does look glorious in ultra on a 2560x1400 27" IPS @120hz though.
