For $50/upgrade this appears to be the best deal right now right? Especially if they waive the upgrade fee?
I'm eligible and really "need" a new phone (charging port is shot, etc). Not sure if I can bandaid my current phone for the next couple months but would try if say the S4 was FOR SURE coming out in April and the price was ~$200.
Even if the price goes to .01 the upgrade fee is almost enough to purchase this from Costco. Am I wrong

|jace_xiong||Sprint service is terrible. I get roaming at my state campus. Barely get 4G, only thing that works is 3G and that's if I can even get bars. Wanted to add 4th line for my little brother, had to wait 13 months; was 2 days late on a payment, now I have to wait a full year. Yeah right, my contract will be up by then lol. I don't recommend it, paying for unlimited data which I can't even use. Sorry for in flaming your thread, but people should know about Sprint before they signup. I should have done better research then just price comparison.|

And I think we're more like acquaintances, but I appreciate the sentiment.

|dnique1221||So this isn't a good deal if I want to upgrade now? I am upgrading, not a new line. Thanks in advance.|

|HamZer11||Saying to wait for the S4 price drop can be said for almost anything. Of course the price will start to drop once we are 2 quarters into the release of the next generation. Also, based on the AT&T announcement, the initial S4 price will be $250. Keep that in mind because its not a huge leap from the S3 which should be available for $50-$75 on contract soon depending on carrier. I hope the $250 is for the 32 gb one because pushing past the pricing that iPhone standardized of $199 is a mistake IMO.|

$70 is a rip off, it's been much cheaper in the past and this phone will drop down ALOT when the S4 is actually on the market.
If you're genuinely interested in the S3 I'd give it another month or so and you'll score the S3 for next to nothing. But in all honesty I'd wait out for the S4 to drop $99-149 you know it will happen. The Note 2 dropped pretty rapidly after the initial demand died down.
