|iflabs||The only good QTEs in this game are the quick counter QTEs. Those actually make the game fun and takes a bit of skill to pull off consistently.|

|droo09||Worst resident evil game to date by far. I pre-ordered it and played it very early. Needless to say that I was more than disappointed having been a big RE fan and I can safely say that I have not played this game more than once since I got it. I wouldn't even buy this game for a dollar.|

Moral of the rant, either have a lot of QTEs or have none at all. Were some of the QTEs in RE6 that were silly and too frequent? Yes. But at least the game was telling you, "yeah, you're going to see a lot of these guys around".
As for RE in general, I can't say much but this guy can:
He seems a bit open-minded about it.

Resident Evil is a survivor horror genre. Starting with RE5 it started becoming an action shooter. RE6 is even more of an action shooter than RE5.
From an action shooter point of view its an decent game, but from a survivor horror which is what Resident Evil is suppose to be, its not.

Though its a turn-based strategy game that caters to a certain demographic, it is an awesome game (imho). Cheapness in a "short" period of time is not a good barometer when deciding the quality of a game -- especially on slickdeals.

Wow, a lot of mixed people hating and/or loving it. I haven't been a long time RE fan, so maybe I'll never understand how it's the worst RE of all time (my first game to this series was 5); I thought it was pretty good and the QTE were fine albeit silly and frequent... but AT LEAST isn't the BAD kind of QTE (Bayonetta, anyone? I'm NOT talking about the button mashing sequences).
Unless you guys have better reasons why it's poor aside "not following tradition", "not RE4", or "IT SUX HARDZ", I think it's a game worth trying out, most especially if you got someone to co-op with. Don't vouch me if the console version is better or not, I personally couldn't stand it and played it on PC.

Wait and buy it for under $5 for the PC. You turn godlike when you use a mouse and keyboard to play it.
I'm just glad some sucker was willing to pay $20 for my PS3 copy at this point.

I'm talking strictly gameplay. People have their own opinions about story, co-op, etc. (I personally think RE6 is great with co-op, but others liked the RE4 solo story better, thats fine)
This vid shows alot of the cool new stuff added: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf0DhP7
