|Armaan1||Damn, they raised the price to $599. Tax + shipping kills it (+$100).|

|DietRed||Good deal. Nice power. Nice price. Who said desktop PC's are dead? Lots of times you really need a good ol' V8 pickup truck.|

I've should of done this at the beginning of this thread....
Here is a Speccy screen shot for this system. Ignore the SSD and the WD hard drive. It was added later.

It has both, SATA 2 and SATA3 (6gb/s)
I know for sure b/c I have the same motherboard (another HP H8, different model tho) and I have an SSD hooked up to either SATA0 or SATA1 connector which both are 6gb/s connections.

|spy4deals||Any one can confirm if it is SATA 2 or SATA 3 connectors on the MB? this makes huge differences while connecting to a SSD. I can't find any info about this.|

I think this deal should be FP...
Yes you can build it cheaper, but try finding any brand name PC with these specs at this price! You won't!

This is a good "base" system.
You will still need to add a SSD and a video card yourself which can add anywhere from $150 to $400 to the final build price (depending on what you purchase).
Edit: 300W power supply?! Yeah, go ahead and add another $75-$100 in components that will need to be replaced/upgraded. at this price point you're almost better off building it yourself (if you're able).
