Anyone else get the Asus monitor? Looks like the price has gone back up already.
Mine just came in not long ago. There are no bright pixels, but one dark pixel. It's not too noticeable unless it's contrasted against a light color and I happen to look right at it.
The warranty is transferrable. I just had a chat with Asus support and they said the warranty on this unit is good until 11/16/2015. It covers all bright dots and 5 or more dark dots.
Overall, I'm happy.

I'm another crossover 27q guy. One of the best risks I ever took. 410$, perfect pixel, runs like a champ. Inhuman shipping. I did the square trade as well.
The Asus is a bit gapped on the pixel pitch, but that's me being nitpicky. It's PLS which is cheaper to produce than IPS, and is basically Samsung's answer to the LG IPS panels. The quality difference is negligible to most.

|wrathre||Also a purchaser of a shimian here. Purchased the pixel perfect model (certain sellers have a better "pixel perfect" guarantee so read all the fine print) and then slapped a 3 year squaretrade warranty on it (think I paid 50 bucks for the warranty at the time with no % off coupon). It's been great so far, had it for about 8 months. No dead pixels or light bleed. Colors look great (granted I don't use it for anything professionally, just gaming, movies, and web surfing). Only negative is that the stand wasn't very stable. Purchase an aftermarket one from Monoprice and you'll be set.|

|x2ruff4u||Guys for whatever the returns where I'm sure Amazon didn't check each one fully for it. OR the returner just didn't feel like giving the reason of a dead pixel so your just gambling now. + your losing your manufacture warranty etc.|

I haven't bought much on Warehouse. Does the same return policy apply - i.e. free return shipping if defective?

|mythe||Pretty sure you're thinking about either the Monoprice or Microcenter ones. The Monoprice monitor is probably the cheapest on the monitor with one of their coupons. They actually have another model that's up for preorder now and supposedly has a grade A panel.|

|iamn1ck||Good deal on the Asus monitor, I would buy if I didn't just pick up a Crossover 2560x1600 monitor last week|
